About Me...
Hello, my name is Kelly Wilson. I am the owner and head trainer of Nothing But Rewards. Originally from Quispamsis, I recently returned to New Brunswick from Ontario, where I owned and operated a dog boarding kennel, taught various dog training classes and conducted one-on-one training and behaviour modification programs. Prior to this, I spent eighteen rewarding years as a Medical Technician in the Canadian Armed Forces.
After many years of volunteering for local animal shelters, dog training classes and dog clubs, I decided my passion was the study of animal behaviour and how dogs learn. I graduated from Animal Behaviour College and the Karen Pryor Clicker Training Academy. I am a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers, the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and Doggone Safe Program. I am also now a 'Mentor' for Animal Behaviour College and the New Brunswick Regional Representative for CAPPDT.
I share my life with two great rescues - Taz and Rustik - they love to learn and I love to see the progress they make each day through operant conditioning. It is fascinating!
At Nothing But Rewards, our focus is on creating a new and rewarding relationship for you and your dog through positive reinforcement training. Because dogs don't speak English and we don't speak "dog", we are dedicated to educating dog owners on the benefits of operant conditioning and how to communicate with their pets.
